Words & Spell Check
Words are a funny thing...
or not so funny sometimes.
Let's see if we can find a little humor today.
Who's = who is/has (Who's your daddy?)
Whose = belonging to (Whose business is it if I drink too much coffee?)
Loose = something is not tight; is loose (Your pants are falling down because they are too loose. Pull them up and buy a belt.)
Lose = when you don't win or when you can't find something (Did you lose your keys? The Cowboys didn't lose this weeks game against the Eagles; they won.)
There is definitely no 'a' in definitely.
However, there is 'a rat' in separate.
You do not conversate. You converse. (And I'm not talking about shoes!)
There is no X in espresso.
Then there's this— 'i' before 'e' except after 'c' or when you run a feisty heist on a weird, beige, foreign neighbor.
Spell check. It's impotent. (See what we did there?)
Hint: When typing, the wiggly red line does not mean "Keep it up, you're doing great!"
